It's funny too that on SOME Foster the People songs and some Passion Pit songs when I first heard them I thought that they were sung by a woman. I like the upbeat music and to be honest, I'd have to watch a lyric video to really understand their music because I didn't catch all the words they were singing. Your comment about how they have peppy music in contrast to some of the subject matter reminds me of the song by Foster the People called Pumped Up Kicks.
