In the spirit of the festive season, I’d like to share some
Christmas songs that are a little different from the norm. Most non religious
Christmas songs are all about enjoying winter time by a cozy fire so I wanted
to highlight some songs where the weather is warm.

The first song that I am sharing is by John Williamson
called The Golden Kangaroo. John Williamson is an Australian country singer
famed for singing songs about the Outback. An Aussie Christmas is in the summertime and
most songs are about Santa being too hot, barbecues, kangaroos and the Outback.
The next song is Christmas in the Sand by Colbie Caillat. I
just found this song today. I didn't know there were other Christmas songs set in a warm climate.
These aren't really the kind of songs I listen to at Christmas, but it is always a lot of fun to try something different! Especially as I don't listen to much Australian music, so thank you for sharing!
