Life
This year I will be teaching grade 1. I haven’t taught this
grade before so it will be a bit of a learning curb for me. A question I get
asked a lot is if I’m excited about teaching for the new year. I always answer
no because I don’t get excited about work. I get excited about going on
vacation or seeing a new movie. I don’t
have any concerns about teaching grade one and I’m positive that it will be a
good year.
Reading
I am currently reading A twisted tale: Part of Your World by
Liz Braswell. It’s a series of books by Disney about some of their famous
stories but reimagined with darker scenarios. Part of Your World is a reimaging
of The Little Mermaid and what would have happened if Ariel had not won at the
end.
Watching
I watched The Little Mermaid. I really enjoyed the live
action version.
