Rissi from Dreaming Under the Same Moon, invited anyone to join in on the Famous People Tag and as I love tags, here I am. 

#1 Who's your favourite singer/group?

I like Taylor Swift, Paloma Faith, Guy Sebastian, Jessica Mauboy, Delta Goodrem, and Taeyang,

 #2 If your favourite male actor was in the same room as you right now, what would your reaction be?

I’d be really happy and excited to see Daniel Radcliffe and I would ask him lots of questions.

#3 Is there a famous person you used to love but (due to something they have done in their life) you've suddenly changed your mind?

I really liked Amanda Bynes and Lindsay Lohan. I always looked forward to watching their movies while I was growing up. I thought that Amanda had a talent for comedy and Lindsay was a good leading lady. I could see had the potential to have a long career.

I think they still do have a chance to turn their lives around.  

 #4 Name a famous person you like who's name starts with a V.

Vivica A. Fox is an actress best known for playing Will Smith’s fiancé in Independence Day, she was also Ella’s fairy godmother in Ella Enchanted and Vernita Green in Kill Bill. 

#5 What's one of your favourite red-carpet dresses?

I love what Emma Watson wore to the Golden Globes. What I like about her is she always dresses for herself and opts for unusual designs. I think it was daring of her to go for this dress/pants number. What makes this outfit work is her confidence, the right colour and impeccable appearance.

#6 Who's your favourite Royal person?

I don’t really care about the royals.

 #7 Who's your favourite child actor/tress

I have so many favourite child actors. I love the Harry Potter kids and always get excited when they are in new films. I also love Dakota and Elle Fanning, Rachel Hurd Wood and the Narnian kids.

#8 Is there an actor/actress you actually like their private lives of? (Not sure if that last question was properly phrased.)

I don’t really follow what actors do in their private lives but I think Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint are down to earth people and don’t get into any drama.

#9 Do you think that the actors/actresses have improved these last 100 years?

I think actors have improved as they don’t have as many restrictions as in the past and nothing seems to be taboo any more

.  

#10 What's the weirdest famous-people name?

I don’t think celebrity kids count because they are only famous by association. So, I couldn’t find that many strange celebrity names. I’ve always liked Whoopi Goldberg’s name. Whoopi’s real name is Caryn Elaine Johnson but she changed it to Whoopi to be more unique.

 #11 Do you think you look like a famous person? Which one(s)?

I don’t think I look like anyone.

Taeyang is my favourite dancer. He is a Kpop star who sings and dances. I am currently loving his single Ringa Linga which has some impressive choreography.

I like so many actresses and my favourites that come to mind are Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Watson, Maggie Smith and Nia Vardalos. I like them for their charm and acting ability.

I haven’t met any celebrities.

Jane Austen was a famous author from the 18^th century known for writing novels about courtship, class divide and gender differences. Her writing is described to be elegant, clever and witty. Jane Austen’s books include Pride and Prejudice, Emma, Northanger Abbey and Sense and Sensibility.

The first Austen book I read was Pride and Prejudice and I was about fourteen years old. I had no idea what the book was about and I wanted to see why the book had endured to be popular to the present day.  I really enjoyed the book and continued to read more of Jane Austen’s work. Jane Austin’s writing inspired me to read other classic books which is something I still continue today. I like Austen books because the heroines are always brave in their own way. They are assertive and generally motivated to do good for others. The characters also have impeccable manners which make me wish that people were as courteous as they were in the regency period.

 Fun Fact: I love reading and watching all things to do with Jane Austen. I’m happy when there are new movies or series based on Jane Austen’s novels and I also like watching modernized versions too. My favourite modern inspired Jane Austen movies are Bride and Prejudice which is a Bollywood version of Pride and Prejudice and I also love Clueless which is inspired by Emma.

Paige’s Questions:

1) What is your favorite Austen book?

My favourite Jane Austen book changes and tends to be the one that I am currently reading. My favourite Austen books are Pride and Prejudice, Emma, Persuasion, Northanger Abbey and Mansfield Park. 

2) What is your favorite movie adaptation of an Austen book?

My favourite movie adaption is the 1995 movie of Emma starring Gwyneth Paltrow as Emma. I think she did a great job in capturing Emma’s lively spirit and the film is just filled with eye candy. I love all the houses and costumes.

3) What is your *least* favorite movie adaptation? 

My least favourite adaption would be the 2007 adaption of Northanger Abbey. I thought they made the main character a little too silly and I didn’t like all the sexual fantasies that she had.

4) Which character in any of the novels do you relate to most?

This is a very good question. I haven’t thought about it before. I think I relate most to Elizabeth Bennet because I think my parents are kinda like her parents.

5) If you could choose a Jane Austen home to live in, where would you live?

There are so many nice houses in Jane Austen’s books. It’s a bit hard to choose…. I suppose I would like Emma’s Hartfield or Mansfield Park or Pemberley. It’s not so much the huge mansions that interest me. I like those houses because of the gardens and features which I think would be fun to stroll down every day. 

6) Who is your favorite Austen hero?

Mr Darcy is my favourite hero because in the course of the book he changes and it’s good to show how you can change for the better.

7) If you were to write a sequel to any of Jane's novels, what would it be about?

I would write a sequel of Pride and Prejudice and we would see how Elizabeth and Jane adapt to their new lives.
